| I am Animal Healer Christina Corbisello and I would like to share a little of my story and how I came to be Healing with the Animals.
Thank you for coming to my web site and spending a little time with me.
I've learned there are no accidents and I know because you are here,
there is a reason.
I
was born in a small town on the Ohio River. As a little girl I was one
of those that colored outside of the lines and pulled the covers over
my head at night because I didn't know what the presence I felt around
me was. In the Italian, Catholic family I grew up in, there was not
much awareness of the positive aspect of energetic presence. I was
blessed in my life to have an aunt who always reminded me of the angels
and taught me to "light a candle" whenever there was a challenge. Over
the years she was, in her way, introducing me to "shining my light".
After
completing a Bachelor of Art at San Diego State University, I moved to
Phoenix. In 1980, when I was looking for a DR, my father told me about
a couple that used to practice in our hometown that opened a clinic in
Phx. He went to school with him and his wife lived in India with
missionary parents…. "Dr Gladys" McGarey became my primary physician
and mentor for 25 years. As a result of our relationship I was led to
study alternative modalities and complementary medicine. I learned so
very much over the years. A lot of it by manifesting conditions in my
own body and then finding a way to heal them.
Some years ago, a boxer dog came into my life who we named Gypsy. I was recently married and had several miscarriages. Gypsy was nine months old at the time and came from a breeder we knew whose daughter had named her "Baby"! I walked into her yard, stooped down and she put her paws on my knees and her cheek against mine and the rest is history! She has taught me that things come to us in unexpected ways.
When Gypsy was about two she had two puppies. Animals respond really well to energy work and she received Reiki every single day of her pregnancy. One of the puppies, we kept and named "Jelly". About that time I completed a guided journey to find out where I had hid my magic as a child. A surprise to me was finding it in the "DOGBOX" of a BOXER dog I had as a child, named Duke. I came to realize it was not in the DOGBOX, but in the BOXER DOG and little Jelly had indeed come to bring the magic back into my life.
I am a Reiki Master Teacher and Healing Energy Practitioner. I have trained in Healing Touch, Therapeutic Touch, Equine Touch, Canine Touch and various other energy modalities. I have a private practice in Dewey, AZ for both two-legged and four-legged's. Extending my work with Gypsy and Jelly brought me to other animals that responded to energy work. Over the years, I have been led to combine the wisdom of my own intuition along with the energy techniques I have learned to work with many animals. The techniques I use promote a beneficial way to blend holistic healthcare and traditional medicine.
Sometimes
it is with a message for their human, sometimes energy work they need
for themselves, sometimes work their companion needs, sometimes
teaching the techniques I use. Gypsy and Jelly help me to open to new
and exciting possibilities with each day. They have truly been angels
who have brought me to this work and continue to show me new ways of
expanding and sharing it.
My aunt passed over several years ago and I miss her a lot! The week that she passed over I had a dream of meeting her in a walkway on an incline with corrals on either side. I remember there were animals all around us and she was walking out of a dark area into the light and I greeted her, " Aunt Pauline, where have you been? I missed you!" and she said "Oh, Honey, I went to the other side to get the miracles!" The animals have indeed brought many miracles to me as my work in this area develops. There is a candle that perpetually twinkles in my living room to remind me to always "shine my light" and to look for the miracles in each day and in each animal!
